Examples of Number Games Questions

The best number game questions aren’t always difficult; they are usually very tricky. You will seem very sure of the answer, but you end up getting it all wrong. That’s exactly why the activity is so much fun.

  • If 1=3, 2=3, 3=5, 4=4, 5=4, 6=? (The answer is three because 6 is a three-letter word).
  •  When you take one letter from a certain odd number, it becomes even. What am I? (Answer is seven. When you remove “s,” it becomes “even”).
  • Three consecutive numbers have the same answer, whether they’re multiplied or added together. What are the numbers? (1, 2, and 3)
  • Jesse’s age was double the age of Martha when she was four years old. How old is Jesse now that Martha is 16 years old? (This is a trick question. Jesse is 20. The age difference remains constant).
  •  In a three-digit number, the second digit is four times as big as the third digit. The first is three less than the second. What is the number? (141).
  • What’s the shape of the world? (Spherical).
  • What weighs more? A ton of feathers or a ton of apples? (They both weigh the same. Did you say apple? This is another question that tests your analytical skills).
  • How many sides does a circle have? (Zero. You should know this by default. A circle has no side).
  • What is a triangle that has two sides of the same length called? (Isosceles triangle).
  • How many hours do we have in a year? (8,760).
  • My birthday comes up only once in four years. When is my birthday? (February 29).
